| Description |
Protien Sample Dye is used for the preparation of protein sample prior to SDS-PAGE. 6X Protein Sample Dye (DTT) contains Tris-HCl, pH 6.8, SDS, Glycerol, Bromphenol blue and DTT. DTT breaks disulfide bonds and destroys residual secondary structures. Glycerol is included in the loading buffer to ensure protein samples remain in the gel wells after loading. |
